Always circled as one of the most anticipated nights on the Fairbury American Legion Speedway schedule, the DIRTcar Summer Nationals are ready to roll into FALS on Saturday, June 23rd for the 50-lap $10,000 to win first place prize. Fairbury Speedway officials are excited to announce Rhino Ag as the title sponsor for this year’s Summer National event. Rhino Ag, located in Gibson City, Illinois, is a leader in the agriculture equipment industry used in agriculture, commercial, industrial mowing applications, landscape preparation, roadside maintenance, and many other farm and ranch applications. Alongside the DIRTcar Late Models, the Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals will also be in action paying $1,500 to win the 30-lap feature.
Fairbury Speedway will also be hosting the DIRTcar Street Stocks which will pay $800 to win the 20-lap feature. Originally scheduled as a Midwest Street Stock Championship sanctioned race, Fairbury Speedway officials have decided to respectfully forgo the MSSC race and run a Fairbury Speedway track operated DIRTcar special. “In the best interest of our Street Stock racing, and the anticipation of those racers racing in front of a great crowd, we have decided this was the best course of action leading up to the Summer Nationals event,” said FALS Race Director Scott Drendel. “We want to thank the entire MSSC Series and wish them well in the future.” Fairbury Speedway will be implementing a bonus if there are 25 or more Street Stocks.
